This program is held at the Heredia campus of the Interamerican University of Costa Rica. Students with all levels of Spanish can take advantage of the wide course offering. Students can combine courses in Spanish grammar and conversation with special elective courses.

The distinctive characteristic of this program is that students can combine their Spanish and elective courses with other standard university courses in which they interact with Costa Rican degree seeking students on a daily basis. Courses with Costa Ricans are available in a very wide range of areas such Business, Teaching, Humanities, Accounting and computer sciences.
