HEREDIA |
Our program in this colonial city
is held at Universidad Interamericana.
The town is located just 30 minutes
far from San José and it
is known as the city of flowers. The community
of Heredia is a quiet town, where students
can find old architecture from the colonial
times of Costa Rica.
The area has mountainous weather and has
easy access to volcanoes, commercial centers,
and a lot of little towns with special and
different cultural manifestations.

SANTA CRUZ - GUANACASTE |
This program is held at Universidad Latina
and it is definitely an incredible program
for students who love the indigenous and
latino culture. The town of Santa Cruz is
located in the north of the country, in
the province of Guanacaste
(4 hours from San José, the
capital).
It is a little town with thousands of traditions
and costumes that native people have kept
through hundreds of years. After classes,
students can sit in the park with local
people, enjoy hundreds of virgin beaches
located within 30 minutes from Santa Cruz
or go to Guatil, a little town of indigenous
people and help them make clay bowls in
the same way it was done hundreds of years
ago.
