The purpose of ILASO's Affiliate program is to encourage US colleges and universities to improve the study abroad options in Latin America. ILASO seeks to build partnerships with professors and leaders in international education on campuses across the world. The affiliation agreement encourages participation in study abroad through a range of exclusive affiliate benefits, which include affiliate-specific scholarships, marketing support for your office and site visit opportunities.

In conjunction with ILASO, you can develop the new programs to meet faculty needs, expand current options and grow study abroad for your students.

If your school has the equivalent of 10 students willing to participate in our program, you will be entitled to one free site visit for your faculty or staff. With a minimum of fifteen students a member of your faculty or staff may accompany the group with all expenses paid including housing, meals and weekend excursions.

ILASO provides templates of flyers, posters, e-mails and/or advertisements for the study abroad office to use in to increase awareness of study abroad on your campus.

ILASO also provides our affiliate institutions with the option to design their own program. In the best interest of your institution, we will accommodate any requests that better suite your program.

ILASO will provide a contribution of $100 for each semester or summer student that participates in our programs in Costa Rica.

If you choose the scholarship option, ILASO will provide one full semester scholarship OR 2 full summer scholarships per year for every 30 students participating in our semester or summer programs.

ILASO will provide a contribution of $50 for each student participating in our Spanish for Medical professionals in Costa Rica.

If you choose the scholarship option, ILASO will provide one full scholarship for every 15 students enrolled in our program.
